The primary server is leased from BrainStorm Network Inc. (Oneprovider), 3275 avenue Francis-Hughes, Laval, Quebec H7L 5A5, Canada, a reseller of infrastructure operated by Scaleway SAS, 8 rue de la Ville l'Évêque, 75008 Paris, France. Data is hosted in France, at the Scaleway DC5 (PAR-2) datacenter, Paris region.

Backups are kept with Hébergement OVH Inc., 1801 avenue McGill College, suite 800, Montreal, Quebec H3A 2N4, Canada, in a datacenter operated by OVH Sp. z o.o. (registered office: Powstańców Śląskich 9, 53-332 Wrocław, Poland), datacenter located in Warsaw (Ożarów Mazowiecki), Poland. The servers and their backups are therefore located within the European Union (France and Poland).

Operation and infrastructure management (CDN, email) are handled by Permalink (Valentin Beck).

The infrastructure providers listed above (Oneprovider, Scaleway, OVH) host the servers but have no access to the content stored on them. Screenshots and content published by users (galleries, screenshots made public) are hosted, within the meaning of article 6 of French Act no. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004 (LCEN), by the publisher, Valentin Beck, who is not their author. As such, the publisher may remove manifestly unlawful content reported to him and keeps the data identifying the author of a piece of content, disclosed to the authorities upon request (procedures and retention periods detailed in the terms of use and the privacy policy). Responsibility for the content of a screenshot and for its publication lies with the user who produced it. Any report of unlawful content, or any request to remove a screenshot by the owner of the site concerned, may be sent through the contact form.

All content on this site (texts, code, design, logo) is the exclusive property of Valentin Beck. Any reproduction, even partial, is prohibited without prior written permission.

Screenshots generated by Shotbot are produced automatically from third-party websites. Shotbot claims no rights over these images. If you own a website and wish to have a screenshot removed, contact us.

Data collected (email address, IP address during captures) is used solely for the operation of the service. It is not sold to third parties. It may be shared with service providers strictly necessary for operation (payments: Stripe, email delivery: Permalink / Amazon SES Paris).

Payments are processed by Stripe. Shotbot does not store any payment card data.
